Dr. Emma graduated from Palmer Chiropractic College West, in San Jose California in 2018. While in school, she enjoyed learning about different populations. She developed a special interest in working with children and pre/post-natal women, specifically. She understands what a toll pregnancy and delivery take on the body and thus became interested in what chiropractic can do to aid in this journey. She specifically enjoys helping women prepare for labor, recover from delivery, and to make them feel as comfortable as possible during pregnancy. Dr. Emma has special training working with this population, including Webster Certification to aid in the positioning of baby, and maximizing mom’s comfort throughout pregnancy. She is also certified in instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM) through Fibroblaster. IASTM is helpful in relieving or reducing symptoms of frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, golfer’s elbow, trigger finger, plantar fasciitis, and post surgical or post trauma scar tissue.

She received her Bachelor of Science from Sonoma State University (SSU) in 2015 with a concentration in exercise medicine. From a young age, she knew she was interested in preventative health and helping people feel their best. She wanted to pursue a hands on approach to healing. She considered numerous other professions such as personal trainer, nutritionist, massage therapist, physical therapist, and occupational therapist, but found a profession that is the perfect combination of all of them. She enjoys chiropractic because it takes a whole body and proactive approach to pain, dysfunction, and health.

When she is not in the office, Dr. Emma enjoys playing with her Greyhounds and hiking. Her hobbies include baking and crafting. She pursues a healthy lifestyle with weight training, running, yoga, cycling, and focusing on a diverse and plant rich diet. She believes the secrets to longevity are movement, vegetables, and water!
